Argonaut Games PLC has a history of producing ground breaking games and is one of the largest independent games developers in the world with nearly 300 employees based in five UK locations; Edgware, Kentish Town, Cambridge, Bicester and Sheffield. With technologies, like the Super FX chip and numerous hit games which have sold more than a million copies including; Starfox, Stunt Race FX, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, Croc 2: Kingdom Of The Gobbos, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PS one.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

Argonaut's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1984 title, "Skyline Attack" (C64).

The company has been involved titles released on the PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, PlayStation, Game Boy Color, Dreamcast, N64, Game Boy, Saturn, SNES, Amiga, ST, Konix, C64, Spectrum 48K and Sinclair Spectrum 128K. Of these, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (PlayStation) and "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" (PlayStation) have been best selling titles.

The company's most recent involvement was on the 2005 release "Zero Hour" (PSP).
