Summary

The original Rollercoaster Tycoon made its PC debut back in 1999 to an audience of rollercoaster enthusiasts, eager to realise their virtual dream. Rollercoaster design has never been so simple. Gone are the days of masters degrees and long term university studies; Rollercoaster Tycoon allowed the game-playing public’s minds to wonder free. The game’s success brought on the development of not one add-on pack, but two. The Loopy Landscapes edition contains both expansions in one handy little package.

Veterans of the series can now get their teeth stuck into another 30 scenarios, all of which are just as challenging as its predecessors were. Six new themes have been included, permitting for some increasingly original park designs that will help your park look more attractive than ever. A surprising new addition is the inclusion of some ‘real’ parks. Genuine replicas of Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, two of Europe’s most popular parks, have been made available for you to play around with.

While this expansion does require the purchasing of the original, it’s still a worthwhile investment for enthusiasts of the genre.
