Summary

Blaz Blue's HD beat-'em-up goodness is being stepped up in Continuum Shift with a host of new additions.

That includes new stories - as a sequel to Calamity Trigger's story, Continuum Shift comes with 28 unique storylines, in both Japanese (in case you hate translations) and English if that's your preference. That's twice the number of its predecessor. These are fought out in 15 new 3D styled stages and a whopping 29 arenas!

The stories are played out with the introduction of seven new characters including sinister Hazama; the hardcore Lambda, the Noel evolvution character of Mu, and the terrifying Tsubaki.

The game also has four brand new modes that will please the newcomer and the hardcore BlazBlue fan. First up there is a Tutorial mode that introduces the new player to the franchise's strategies and tactics. This is followed by a Beginner mode that replaces Calamity Trigger’s Easy Special and introduces a simplified control system to ease you in. Then there are 300 new challenges that take gamers through each of the combatants' special moves and combos. But back from Calamity Trigger comes the popular Legion Mode in which gamers find recruits to help them to ultimate victory.
