Summary
It's Eqypt, the 1930s, and interest in poking around the tombs of Eqypt is at its height. If it sounds like we're setting up trouble, then you're on the right track. Buried and erased from history for 4,000 years, Seteki the Witch Queen has risen, and she's not about to disappear quietly into the 20th century.
Enter the Strange Brigade, a group of brave adventurers who have found very few problems that they couldn't solve by shooting them. Taking its lead from the same 1930s cinema serials that inspired Indiana Jones, Strange Brigade is a third person romp though a world plagued by the undead and powerful magic, all delivered in a spirit of wonky good-natured fun.
Co-op is a big part of the game, and you can team up with up to three other players online to fight your way through dangerous dig sites, pyramids and caves. You'll fight a balance mix of the slow, shambling undead and the occasional powered up beast breaking out of the pack. Weapons like the fire-spitting Krakatoa, the ice cold Chill Burster, and the brain-busting Blunderbuss will help you out, but so will not-so-subtle traps like spinning blades and swinging spiked logs. Keep your eyes open for the collectibles laced through the levels and switch on your brain to solve a few fiendish puzzles and you've got some rip-roaring good fun!
