Summary

Life, love and liberty need defending once again. And they need defending from anywhere you please, with this follow-up to SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo on the PSP.

You're a Navy Seal, one of the best of the best, and in this tactical shooter you'll need to venture into the fictional country of Adjikistan (located somewhere around the Pakistan/Afghanistan region) to fight the enemies of democracy.

As the game's predecessor interacted with SOCOM 3 on the PS2, so Fireteam Bravo 2 interacts with SOCOM: Combined Assault via crosstalk. That means that taking out troops in one game will kill them off in the other and, while you can't necessarily interact with them, you'll see the other team going about its business.

The game has a branching stroyline that can be tackled in a non-linear fashion. You'll need to complete all missions, but if there's a terrorist hiding in a bush and sniping at you that you just can't seem to nail, you'll be able to head off to another mission, improve your skills then come back and finsish the blighter off.

Of course, the pride of the SOCOM series is its online multiplayer. Once again, you'll be able to team up with your mates to form clans over a Wi-Fi connection. If you're in close proximity to them, up to 16 players can compete wirelessly in Ad Hoc mode.

Democracy needs you!
