Xbox 360 Developer Support List Offered

I saw Rockstar. If anything'll piss off the Sony fanboys it's GTA on Xbox first.

'I'm sure the word 'exclusive' wasn't used in the article. So why are saying 'Pilot13' that GTA will come out on the xbox360 first!.

That list if it turns out to be true is just a 3rd Party Developer list for Xbox 360, I guess in Rare's case they're 1 1/2 Party!

I don't think Pilot13 was saying it IS coming to xbox360 exclusively, just that it would be amusing to see Sony loose one of their most important franchises.

All of the ps2 gta games have ended up on xbox anyway (and so will San Andreas) so it really doesn't make much of a difference.

Ha! xbox would get it second as usual. Anyway just because you see rockstar doesn't mean gta on xbox first, it could mean midnight club 4, manhunt 2, etc.

Hey what about square enix being missing from the list, I guess no final fantasy on xbox again. They did get the creator of final fantasy on the xbox team but he's making something different.

Your right mac gta always ends up on xbox, but late. So when you and me are f**king people up in the next generation gta on ps3, xbox 360 owners have to wait 8 months to enjoy the fun.

An interesting list of developers. I feel that Xbox360 has a better chance to do a good job this time.

More japanese games and I'm might just invest in one. But Sony do seem to get the most japanese support and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

your earlier post said why the 360 would get it first?... hmm, im not shure, maybe becuz its being released first O_o... rockstar cant release a game for a console that doesnt exist.

and the reason the GTA games are released about 6-8 months later on the x-box and PC after the ps version is very simple. the PC and x-box are capable of handling allot more than the PS2. (dont argue the fact). they are able to stuff in the 'directors cut' so to speak, into the later released games. i know for a fact that vice city for pc is loaded with a lot more than the ps2 version... when releasing for the box and the PC, they up the visuals and add in bonus features. not to mention i can mod the living crap outta it on my pc... downloading skins, maps, making it online...

it takes em a bit longer to get this better content and up the games visuals, therefor it is released later.

I wont argue that the pc and xbox version looked better but in terms of the game it was the same on xbox. The pc version wasn't really recognised by people, what I mean is that most people had it either on ps2 or xbox.
Anyway the next gta won't come out until october 2006 or 2007 cause san andreas came out in 2004 so now they have to take 2-3 years to make a new one. So either xbox360 and ps3 get it at the same time or ps3 get's it first for 8-9 months.

Dude, Neo you need to chill out with your PS2 fanboyism...Xbox doesn't get the GTA series because of a exclusivity deal Rockstar has with Sony until October of either this year or last year...I don't recall. But in the end it doesn't matter because when the NexBox does come out it will rock you hard, this I'm nearly certain of. And mark my words, GTA in the next gen will be all but exlusive to any console...if anything it will have console specific content(ie the radio station in the Xbox version now). And the PC version does fantastically in sales, are you smoking dope or is that just pole in your mouth?! If it didn't sell well then why would they release all three GTA's on the platform? And besides that...even if Square Enix doesn't release a FF game on NexBox(but I have a sneaky feeling that there will some ground shacking s**t at this years E3)...it won't matter because the series has boiled down to a crappy series that they're trying to milk until the end. Hell since they lost Sakaguchi-san all the series except for the tactics series have blown something fierce. Those are the only games in the series I look forward to now, the actual numbered series has fallen victim to the same s**t different characters virus. And I own all the current systems as well as a lot of the older ones too. And me personally I'm a Sega man...maybe at this years E3 they'll show a new console!! ;)

I never played GTA on PS2 or Xbox, I had both on the PC because its hands down the best version. The PS2 is the weakest of all 3 versions and the only reason its on that system first is because Sony gives rockstar a fat check to keep it that way. I like sony, some of my best gaming moments were on PSone, but Its technology is dated. Although I admit they've held up admirably, the fact that they can still port a game like Slinter Cell Chaos Theory to PS2 is remarkable given that fact that the CPU clocks in at just under 300mhz.. only 100mhz faster then the Dreamcast

Just like some of you guys mouth off about xbox I need to mouth of about ps2. The pc version of gta didn't have huge sales they just put it on pc cause they want gta to be multiplatform. I don't care if xbox or pc get's gta fist cause in the end the best selling version will be ps2 or 3's.
About final fantasy, your the one "smoking dope or is that just pole in your mouth?!" what you didn't like final fantasy x (greatest hits by the way). Same s**t different character virus? every game is different if you would read and look at what's going on you would see the difference. Anyway at e3 all of you sony haters will drule over the ps3. Sony has lead in video games for a decade now and ps3 and psp will lead them to another decade. You guys all have ps2's anyway so I rest my case.

Yes ps2's technology is dated but come on when it was being made only dreamcast was out. Nintendo and xbox weren't even made yet. I look at it like this ps2 is close to 100 million sales just like ps one and yet it's the inferior system and most hated (on spong at least).

wrong, PC version of GTA have always sold high. i think they're the best. shooters are meant for the PC, controling is a hell of a lot better.

i get more bang for my buck on the PC any way... its like 20 bux, and i get to expand the game as much as i please... via downloads.

bottom line PC > everything else...

i own an x-box, but it doesnt mean im partial to microsoft... i have a PSP and DS, i dont take sides, i go where the games are.
