Created in 1998 by Marc du Pontavice, Former President and Founder of The Multimedia division of the Gaumont group, Xilam specialize in the production of animated programs for Television, Cinema and Internet as well as in the development and the publishing of video games. Having acquired in December 1999 most of the assets of Gaumont Multimedia, including the production facilities, Xilam can now provide a remarkable expertise and production capacity: For the year 2000, the company has already no less than 50 hours in production, including the series Lucky Luke.

Xilam's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2000 title, "Stupid Invaders" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, Power Mac and Dreamcast.
