Summary

Now one of the many snowboarding titles available on most consoles, Twisted Edge Snowboarding is one of only a few titles on this genre available on Nintendo 64. So let's take a look...

Twisted Edge Snowboading features a variety of options. You are able to choose from characters with a range of stats, a choice of boards, difficulty levels, tracks, all of which contribute to varied gameplay. Courses start simple, with minor turns and small declines on the slope. As you progress things get nasty. Corners are hairpin-like, and drops are excessive. In real life, such a course would be life threatening, however, this isn't real, and it adds to the fun.

The alternative option to racing, is stunt boarding. In this option you get to show off to your fellow friends by commiting neck breaking moves on the most death defying jumps you can find. This is quite possibly the meat of Twisted Edge Snowboarding.

All in all, this is a reasonable simulation of snowboarding, but with a little bit of added danger. Break a leg.
