Summary

Pinball machines were formerly a trademark of the arcade, but as the capabilities of home entertainment improved, developers began creating their weird and wonderful tables on PC’s. The results opened up the world of pinball to millions of potential players at only a fraction of the cost. Continuing the river of pinball simulators is Slamtilt Resurrection.

There are two tables available for you to play with, the pirate table and the demon table. Both tables are entirely unique in both theme and the features they hold. Depending on your own preferences, you can view the table in one of three ways. You have the old style bird’s eye view, the first person view, or the extended first person view. It is easiest to play with a top-down perspective, but the realism in first person is much more realistic. Added to visual features are a few special effects such as anti-aliasing and motion blur.

There are four game modes to choose from, including tournament and championship, giving a sense of longevity given to Slamtilt. With the added feature of game replays, you can show off your hot run for all to see using the game's recordable feature. Slamtilt Resurrection gives the feel of a complete pinball sim, so if your keen on bashing tables with balls on, then Slamtilt is for you.
