Summary

Never mind England's miserable failure in Euro 2000 or the latest sordid developments in your favourite soap, Big Brother has been the British TV hit of the year. The least curious of viewers may have chanced across the trailers, or caught a snippet of one of the early episodes and been intrigued enough to see how these ten strangers would adapt to living in a sealed-off environment for anything up to nine weeks. The slightest exposure to Big Brother, the TV programme, meant one of two things: you were either repulsed by the contestants' exhibitionism, or you were hooked, waiting for their true colours to show. Either way, it made for great viewing as the days passed by.

Tabloid and public reaction hit manic heights, and it was obvious that, no matter how unappealing some of these people were, the majority of them would have their fifteen minutes of fame. They look set to be around for at least another hour or so, thanks to the arrival of Big Brother-The Game for the PC. Yes, here's your chance to rearrange Nichola's face! To reinstate Nasty Nick!

Don't expect the same predictability/unpredictability (delete according to personal taste) as you may have seen on the TV. This title is divided into 'catching games' and a 'tile puzzle', and is not the most mentally challenging piece of software you'll come across. After completing your assignments, video clips from the real programme are played and maybe you'll be able to access the Diary Room and play the bonus game, which may just feature some rude bits. One of the few things in Big Brother worth staying up late for. Big Brother-The Game is, after all, 15+ rated.
