Based upon the July 2003 cinema release of Rugrats Go Wild, THQs PC game of the same name pits players as Eliza and Tommy as they embark on a Rugrats-meets-Wild Thornberrys adventure of wild proportions.
Setting off on yet another adventure of a lifetime, Rugrat Tommy and his sidekicks find themselves stranded on a desert island when their ship sinks. Tommy knows there is only one man who can save them, and thats Nigel Thornberry.
Wandering the jungle-like game world, players must learn to interact with other well-known TV characters from the two TV shows in order to progress from one area of the game to the next. The adventure itself is similar to an old-school 16-bit role-playing game and has players spending much of their time exploring and looking for clues. Along the way, our infant protagonist will bump heads with several native hazards that include bug-eating plants, lizards and even a tiger.
And if that wasnt enough, Rugrats Go Wild also pays host to seven thoroughly playable games that incorporate both platform and racing style games. Each game comes with three difficulty levels, helping to make the experience as accessible as possible, and youll traverse numerous locales including a beach, jungle, camp, cave and even a deadly swamp.
Rugrats Go Wild is very much geared towards a younger audience, and its a game the kids are gonna love.
