Summary

What is it about Nickelodeon baddies trying to take over the world? If SpongeBob Squarepants isn't trawling the depths of the ocean in an attempt to save us from enslavement in a miserable world, it's Dr Calamitus and his endless evil scheming. Calamitus has kidnapped the one person who could possibly stop him, Jet Fusion, one of the greatest spies and movie stars. However, Calamitus never bargained that a boy genius would enter into the bigger picture…

Jimmy Neutron has been contacted by the Big Top Secret Organisation (nothing to do with any circus) to rescue Jet Fusion. The game features some wild inventions created by Jimmy to battle the baddies and take on Dr Calamitus. Somewhat akin to a baby Bond, the spy element includes secret gadgets and hi-tech vehicles such as the light ray and Jimmy Bot that help Jimmy on his mission to rescue Jet Fusion.

This Jimmy Neutron adventure for PS2 - following 2002's Boy Genius - sets the player down in a selection of 3D fantasy environments, in which they must make good use of the array of weapons on offer, as they take down the bad guys. It's a simple premise, much like the TV show on which it's based, and there are cut-scenes dotted throughout the game to keep the momentum going. Aimed at the younger end of the PS2-owning market, Jimmy Neutron Jet Fusion is good old-fashioned, harmless fun with a great quiff!
