Summary

A massive DC Comics character derived from an even more popular Batman franchise, Catwoman has had her fair share of acrobatic shenanigans in the past. The leather clad feline's latest adventure sees Halle Berry taking to the big screen in what unfortunately is considered to be a disappointing film. The game however, is a different story...

A 2D beat-em-up developed by Electronic Arts that closely follows the events of the cinematic equivalent, Catwoman on GBA tells the tale of Patience Prince and how she is transformed into a feline heroine after she is murdered for discovering the dark secrets of her employers.

The game itself is one focused primarily on combat. Throughout the adventure, you'll be confronted by myriad foes bent on taking your nine lives from you, but as a feline you come blessed with a variety of acrobatic abilities and super-human senses that will help you knock your enemies unconscious. The game's combat system is simple and in many ways reminiscent of a 16-bit scrolling beat-em-up.

Visually speaking, Catwoman is a standard GBA affair. The game is played from an isometric perspective, offering of good view of your surroundings, and plays host to some nicely animated thugs and bosses. But regardless of the fact that it's a fun game, Catwoman has a cult following and such great sex appeal that it's virtually guaranteed to be success anyway.
