Summary

The original 2000 release of Who Wants to be a Millionaire went on to become one of the fastest selling games in the UK. Shifting more than a million copies, the video game clone of the prime time TV series wasn't about to stop there. Indeed, the second edition of the quiz game saw the light of day soon after, and was just a popular. And to remind handheld owners what they've been missing, Zoo Digital has brought the game to GBA.

To make the game as much like the TV show as possible, the question masters have created the questions for the game. Like the original, Millionaire 2 boasts a library of 1,000 brand new questions, some easy and others downright difficult.

Visually, the game is well presented. The studio has again been showcased in video format, giving a highly authentic feel. Loading times are virtually non-existent, and players now have the ability to skip through some cut-scenes. A save game option has also been included, so friends can take their game over to a friend or family’s house too.

Giving talented participants that little bit extra to boast about, players’ names are written on the cheques that are handed out. Nice touch.

Essentially, Millionaire 2 is more of the same, with bells and whistles attached. The original was so amazingly popular that Zoo and developer Celador made the good decision to maintain the essence and atmosphere of the game. Top stuff.
