Summary

Flippers Critters for the Nintendo DS takes you to a cartoon fantasy world, full of strange little creatures known as Critters. In this world, there are many different quests and mini-games for players enjoy. Flipper Critters gives players the ability to utilise the full potential of both screens of the Nintendo DS in glorious 3D. The game uses state-of-the-art physics, which gives fast and responsive control.

Flipper Critters is not your run-of-the mill pinball game, oh no. Instead of confining the action to a standard pinball table, you are taken to a variety of locations, landscapes and areas - from mountain valleys to town squares though to medieval castles and even the surface of the moon.

Fans of pinball don't need to worry, as all the well-known features of the game are still included in Flipper Critters, including bumpers, ramps, sinkholes, gates, goals and jackpots - though not as you have seen them before. As you play the game, various odd-looking creatures will offer their services for help. This help can range from casting spells to offering you quests and challenges to undertake.

The mini-games featured in Flipper Critters are designed to challenge you to master a variety of new skills and make full use of the Nintendo DS, including the touch screen and Wi Fi. The mini-games can be played in any order, making the experience different for each player and each gameplay session. There is a Wi Fi feature included in Flipper Critters that is a two player multiplayer option for each mini-game, entitled Duel. Also included is Magic Bridge, where you must race against the other player. The first past the line wins; and Gravity, the goal being to make your enemy submarine sink by picking up driller icons.
