Summary

Guess what! The Wii only went and got a bit behind on the Brothers in Arms series, innit? Luckily for Wii owners with a penchant for re-living the worst wartorn days of their granddad's lives, Ubisoft and Gearbox are offering up a spot of catch up with Brothers in Arms: Double Time.

The game packages together Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood to give Wii owners their first taste of the series. That's a whopping 35 missions to sink your teeth into, offering up territory spread right across the Normandy region. Players will battle it out across hedgerow-crossed farmland, once-idyllic towns and villages, industrial complexes and Gothic Cathedrals as they fight for liberation.

That's not to say, however, that this is just a re-tread over old ground. Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood have both been rebuilt from the ground up in order to best make use of the Wii's hardware. That means (among other things) a control system built specifically to make use of the Wii's Remote and Nunchuk. As well as the usual FPS control system that tends to crop up on the Wii, Gearbox has included an advanced option for the more hardcore soldiers out there.

And let's face it - hardcore or not - you're better playing from the comfort of your living room than actually being shot at, aren't you?
