Summary

It is Inauguration Day and an extremist assault has been launched on Washington D.C. and the nation's top leaders. Security has been fully compromised, from the Capital Steps to the White House, with indications of inside infiltration. As a member of the world's most elite security detail, you are thrust out of the shadows and into the line of fire to save the leadership of the country.

As Secret Service unfolds, you will find the labyrinthine plot unwinds at a furious pace, as the plot twists come as thick and as fast as the rapid fire bullets that rattle around the screen. The political leaning of the storyline - the game was released in the USA just before Barack Obama became President - provides a meaningful and topical flavour to the game.

Whatever gear the real Secret Service get to use is available in the game, with a full arsenal of advanced, tactical weaponry, including assault rifles, pistols, RPGs, shotguns, sub-machine guns, grenades, sniper rifles and tasers. The shooting fest will take you to landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building, Air Force One, Marine One, The White House, and some top secret bunkers which may or may not exist in real life. Watch out for booby traps, as one mis-step could be fatal, and send you right back to the start of the mission.
