Summary

The protagonist of interactive puzzle novel Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Kyle Hyde, returns for another mysterious quest to discover the truth in Last Window: The Secret of Cape West. Just like its predecessor, you'll be guiding Kyle throughout all kinds of brain-teasers in order to unravel a bigger, underlying mystery.

Set a year after the events of the previous game, Last Window puts Kyle in Los Angeles in 1980. The former police officer has been tasked with trying to solve the murder of his father, which involves a rather secretive past. Hotel Dusk has now become Kyle's apartment building, as he tries to crack what seems to be a most twisting case.

Last Window differs from Hotel Dusk, however, by allowing you to truly take control of Kyle's storyline. The decisions that you make will shape the plot, and will result in several different game outcomes. While the first game played like a gripping novel, this one works like an interactive adventure book featuring a classic noir plotline.

Use the touch screen controls to easily navigate Kyle around the sketched-art style 3D environments, and explore the Nintendo DS' microphone to see what effect it will have on various puzzles. If you can't get enough of Professor Layton, this is certainly one for you.
