Summary

For those in the know, Rapala makes some of the best fishing lures (and other tackle!) in the world. The fact that it's teamed up with Activision to bring an angling game that centres on one of the most exciting and taxing of all fish in the world, the mighty freshwater bass, should be enough to excite even non-rodsters.

The game comes with a wireless Rapala Rod & Reel controller which will allow the player to cast, reel, jig, and set the hook to catch the elusive Bass.

Gamers don't just 'catch a fish' though - they are tasked with competiting with professionals in a structured set of tournaments in a “live TV“ environment. Your skill or lack of is also commentated on by the expert voice of InFisherman TV, Barry Brueland. The format provides live updates, leader boards and, of course, detailed analysis leading up to the final weigh-ins. All this takes the gamer through 20 intense tournaments leading to the successful fisherman holding the Rapala trophy aloft.

Players will compete with or challenge friends in simultaneous two-player modes in more than 50 of these contests that see challenges based on location, time, fish weight and cast accuracy.
