Summary

Professor Layton’s first puzzle-based adventure on the Nintendo 3DS is, as you would expect, a dazzling and enchanting experience. Level-5 has packed 150 brand new head-scratchers for you to try your hand at, along with a range of minigames and even a year’s worth of Daily Puzzles that can be downloaded from the Nintendo Network.

Following from the events of The Spectre’s Call, The Miracle Mask sees Professor Layton, Luke and Emmy called to stop a mysterious chap known as the Masked Gentleman. He’s terrorising the city of Monte d’Or using suspicious and dark magic tricks.

As well as the super-sleuth professor in his adult prime, you also get to control Layton as a 17-year-old, as he searches his past memories for the key to solving the Masked Gentleman mystery. It all revolves around the Mask of Chaos - which, by the sound of things, could likely be the cause of all this mishap, don’t you reckon?

Miracle Mask is a step forward in the Professor Layton series, because alongside the deliciously animated hand-drawn cutscenes it will offer 3D rendered scenes, which come to life thanks to Nintendo's stereoscopic handheld. Solve the mystery of the mask in the present day, and escape from deadly traps as a 17-year-old adventurer!
