Summary
Toy Story Mania! is a game that uses both the fun and pulling power of the Pixar movie characters but also the real life Toy Story Midway Mania! funfair attraction located at Disney's California Adventure and Disney's Hollywood Studios parks.
The game has both single-player and multi-player modes that will be familiar to gamers who enjoy party games on their console.
Developed by Papaya Studios (Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction among others Toy Story Mania! lets gamers enjoy controlling favourite characters from the movie including:
Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Stinky Pete, Hamm, Rex, Bo Peep, Wheezy, Squeeze Toy Aliens and the Green Army Men.
Each of the main characters gets their own gaming slot (inside a shooting gallery) and mini-games associated with them. The 3D glasses that come with the game come into use inside these very shooting galleries starting with the Practice game that requires the player to throw pies to win prizes.
After that a variety of games are played out in six themed galleries including:
Western (Woody and Jessie's Games)
Space (Buzz and the Aliens' Games)
Tea Party (Bo Peep's Games)
Animal (Hamm and Rex's Games)
Army (Green Army Men's Games)
The games and minigames are all compatible with the Kinect controller although players are not required to use Kinect.
