Summary

You'd think that being the subject of one of the most universally panned games in the history of the medium would be enough to put basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal off appearing in licensed games for life. You would, however, be underestimating Shaq's tenacity. Rather, he's leaning right in with a follow-up, developed by Saber Interactice - Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn.

The premise of 1994's original Shaq Fu is intact - Shaq has to step up to bash his way through hordes of evil ninjas, demons and straight-up weirdos and save the world. The action plays out in the form of classic brawlers of yesteryear, but maybe think Streets of Rage more than the original Shaq Fu...

Expect an array of weapons including katanas, shuriken and baseball bats, over-the-top combat and devastating combos. Channel Shaq's alter egos from Big Daddy O to Big Diesel when you need to take things up a notch and generally just have a great time going to town on never-ending crowds of baddies and even the occasional outlandish celebrity boss!

As the successor to the game that Saber is gleefully calling the worst ever, it's on Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn to redeem the reputation of Shaquille O'Neal. Will you be a part of this epic quest?
