Increasingly in recent years that fidelity in the physicality of the game has been supported by authenticity on the surface, too. The developers have really built up an incredible knack for those licensed players likenesses, for imbueing the stadiums with an atmosphere so thick you could stop a penalty with it. Konami has upped the number of licenses yet again, with 79 new licenses taking the total number of licensed teams up to 293 of the 355 on offer.

Off the pitch, myClub has recieved its biggest revamp to date, with a brand new player card design system leading the charge on a series of changes to how players build their squads.
