Summary
What do you get if you cross the mega success of the Ark franchise with the... well, with the mega success of the Minecraft series? A game that, before it was announced, no-one was expecting.
The world of PixARK is a massive land of terrifying dinosaurs, magical creatures and adventure a-plenty. You'll float down to this blocky paradise dangling off a cluster of balloons with nothing to your name, so if you want to survive you'll need to get crafting ASAP. As you go you'll need to pick up experience points, which in turn enable you to level up, unlocking crafting recipes and boosting your abilities as you go. Once you hit a certain point you'll be able to do the thing that makes ARK such a hit - tame dinosaurs. The quicker the better, because there are lots of nasty beasts roaming the environment that really want to munch on you.
As in games like Minecraft, however, you'll be able to invest your time in building whatever you can dream up, so a towering base might be in order...
You can go it alone or team up with some pals to form a tribe. Whatever you do, you'll encounter a world rich in adventure where you'll be soaring on the back of a dragon one minute and exploring vast caverns the next!
