Zombie is a game development studio based in Seattle, Washington. Zombie was formed in '94 by Joanna Alexander and Mark Long, formerly of the Sarnoff Research Center. Alexander and Long founded Zombie after they completed the design of a game console for Hasbro at Sarnoff in '93.
Zombie has designed and/or produced 16 original titles for DOS, Win3.1, Win95, Win 98, Win2000ME, Mac OS, Playstation, and Dreamcast formats. Zombie has also designed a developed a motion-based realtime 3D ride for Disney's new DisneyQuest center; and produced a music video for MTV.
Significant customers include: Activision Value, Disney Interactive, Real Networks, Redstorm Entertainment, Take2, Encore Software, Panasonic, Ripcord, Activision, BMG, Disney, and GT Interactive.
Zombie has strategic relationships with Microsoft, Real Networks, Sony, Monolith, Wild Tangent, Sarnoff Labs, Wildstorm Comics, RTime, and the William Morris Agency.
Zombie's SPEC OPS: Stealth Patrol and SPEC OPS: Ranger Elite are both top ten selling Playstation titles. The SPEC OPS series has sold more than one and a half million units worldwide.
Zombie's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1998 title, "SpecOps: US Army Rangers" (PlayStation).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS4, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Xbox, PlayStation and Dreamcast.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2014 release "Daylight" (PS4).
